About Convert & Calculate
We built Convert & Calculate because most calculator sites give you a number and nothing else. Ours show the formula, use standard definitions, and say plainly what a result does and doesn't mean.
How we choose formulas.
Unit conversions use internationally agreed definitions. Health and finance tools use published, named methods (for example CKD-EPI 2021 for kidney function and Mifflin-St Jeor for calorie needs), and each page names its source.
How we check them.
Every calculator is tested against worked examples with known answers, and we re-check formulas on a regular schedule. The date of the last check is shown on each page.
What we don't do.
We don't give medical, legal, tax or investment advice. Where a tool touches health or money, it says so and points you to the right professional.
