About this tool
Calculate the coffee-to-water ratio for espresso, pour over, French press, AeroPress, moka pot and cold brew — from either the coffee or the water you have.
Formula
water = coffee × ratio (e.g. 1:16 means 16 g water per gram of coffee). 1 g of water ≈ 1 ml, so 1:16 ≈ 62 g coffee per litre.
